Our kids are everything. And they just. keep. growing. Every season brings something new to love, and something else to quietly let go of.
THAT is why I do this work.

I'm so glad you're here.
I am married with three boys. The five of us, and two crazy cats (more boys!), live in Clarkston. So. Many. Boys. I have a not-so-secret love for warm chocolate chip cookies and almost always have an audiobook running.
Somehow, my two stepsons have graduated from college (what?!?). And while I'm doing what I can to keep my 13 year old small, he doesn't listen.
Oy. I am right there with you on this motherhood roller coaster.
I got my first “real camera” when I was pregnant with my son. I quickly learned my memory was useless for remembering the details of his little life, and that really fueled my passion for this work.
I've worked with a LOT of families. Super proud... Hopeful for beautiful photos... Terrified their kids will have a full on meltdown.
DO NOT WORRY.
I've also worked with a LOT of kids. I've seen it ALL. And it's ok. I come equipped with bad jokes, Smarties and no fear of getting on the ground.
Whatever it takes.
Your session should just be a relaxed afternoon with your favorite people. I want you & your kids to have FUN -- so every time you see these photos, you remember.
Even Dad should walk away glad you booked the session : )
