HEY THERE!

I’m Kasey, and I'm so glad you're here. 

I am married with three boys. The five of us, and two crazy cats (more boys!), live in Clarkston. So. Many. Boys.  I have a not-so-secret love for warm chocolate chip cookies and almost always have an audiobook running.

Somehow, my stepson Alex has not only graduated from college, but has moved to New York! At the same time, my younger stepson is now at MSU. I'm doing what I can to keep my 10 year old small, but he has a mind of his own and just keeps getting bigger!

Oy. I am right there with you when it comes to allllll the emotions of kids growing up!

I got my first “real camera” ten years ago when I was pregnant with my son. I realized all too quickly that my memory was useless when it came to remembering all the tiny details of his little life, and that really fueled my passion for this work. 

I can't wait to meet you : )

TIME FLIES

Wasn't he this big only YESTERDAY?  

Now his favorite stuffed toy is no longer of interest  His first tooth already left with the fairy. 

You just want time to STOP so you can hold on a little longer. 

I know this is true because I feel EXACTLY the same.  Our kids are our world.  And they just. keep. growing.

Yet allllll those little changes are amazing and worth remembering.  I want to help you celebrate them in the most beautiful way.

Childhood is a crazy ride.  For all of us.

I've worked with so many parents just like you - insanely proud and smitten with their family but also a little afraid their kids won't cooperate long enough for photos.

DO NOT WORRY. 

I'm not afraid of crabby kids.  Or crabby dads : )

There isn't a meltdown I haven't witnessed & worked through.  I may greet you in a messy bun and leggings so I can get down on the ground and play.  I usually come equipped with bubbles and smarties.  And likely some terrible jokes : )

Whatever it takes.

Our session should simply be a relaxed time spent with your favorite people.  I want you & your kids to have FUN so you remember those good feelings EVERY time you see smiling photos on your wall at home. Even Dad should leave glad you booked the session -- and that's saying something!!

I have loved working with all of my families so far and can't wait to work with you too.
