your senior gallery is here... now what?!?

The email lands. Your final gallery of senior pictures is READY!

You open it, take a peek, and probably get a little teary. Maybe you share it with your mom. Your husband gives his "those are great” verbal thumbs-up.

And then... you close the laptop, life happens, and the link sits in your inbox, slooowly getting buried beneath appointment reminders and bath & body works coupons.

I see you.

And I'd love nothing more than to help you do something MORE with these precious photos of your soon to be graduate 🎓.

Here's a few things you can do with your senior photos now that the final, retouched gallery is in your hands:

Back. Them. Up. (right now is not too soon)

If you do nothing else, please, please, please do this: Save. Your. Photos.

Your final senior gallery includes two versions of downloadable files, and you want both:

  • High-resolution files are for printing. Anything that goes on a wall, in an album, or in an envelope with a stamp. These are VERY large files.

  • Social media-sized files are best for anything online. They're sized to look sharp on Instagram and Facebook without getting squished.

Download BOTH, and save them in more than one place. Your computer, an external hard drive, cloud storage... Pick two.

Share a few favorites (and save some for Senior Sunday)

Go ahead and post a few. Senior year is a big deal. Your community has been waiting!

Here's my tip: don't post them all at once.

Pick a few favorites to share now, and then set a handful aside for Senior Sunday posts through the school year. It stretches the celebration out, and honestly, it's nice to have an excuse to look at them every week.

That print credit? It has an expiration date.

Unless you used it for extra digital images, you're most likely sitting on a specialty credit right now. Your credit can be used for traditional prints (like that 8 x 10 for grandma), or more luxury keepsakes (like an album for your coffee table).

But the credit won't be there forever. I'd hate for it to go unused because life got busy (it will, it's senior year).

Put a quick little reminder in your phone…

Check out allll the options.

Traditional prints are great. Truly. But have you seen the other options? Ask to see samples!!

  • Standout prints are mounted and ready to hang, with a clean, modern look.
  • Acrylic blocks sit on a shelf or desk and give the photo depth and presence.
  • Luxury albums let you hold the whole story in your hands. Gorgeous!

Photos on screens are lovely. Prints you can hold and share are just different 🤎

Before you order, ask yourself 2 things

Your print order goes a lot more smoothly when you consider a couple things first:

1. WHAT might I use printed photos for?

  • Graduation announcements
  • Grad party display
  • Holiday cards
  • Family photo wall
  • Baby book update (it’s the final chapter!)
  • What else???

2. WHO might want prints?

  • Grandparents (they will LOVE and they will display immediately)
  • Aunts and uncles
  • Dad's office
  • Other holiday gifts
  • Who else???

Once you've made your list, the ordering part gets a lot less overwhelming 👍

And If You Forget Something...

No worries. Yes, your print credit does expire, but your final gallery stays open through graduation. If you realize in February that Grandma needs one more photo, come on back and add it.

Need help choosing? Reach out.

I love this part of the process. Picking sizes, deciding album vs. wall display, figuring out which photo deserves the big spot over the couch. I love it all.

If you're staring at your gallery and feeling stuck, let’s chat.
