Are Your Current Brand Photos HURTING You??? Let's Fix That Fast.

As a small business owner, your brand image is crucial to your success. So what happens if your visuals are failing to tell your brand story?

Or worse…. what if they are actually HURTING your image?

Let's take a look at the 3 most common mistakes I've seen small businesses make with their existing brand images -- and how we can fix them fast!

#1 - Inconsistent Visual Identity

PROBLEM

You have mismatched colors, fonts, style or photos across your website, social sites, print media, etc.

AND / OR

You are using unprofessional or low-quality images

FIX IT FAST

Develop a brand style guide with clear guidelines for colors, fonts, and imagery.

Implement your new brand elements across all of your online platforms and you'll be recognized no matter where people find you!

Consider investing in professional brand photography. Discuss your brand aesthetic upfront with your photographer to ensure the new photos are aligned.

Use your new library of photos everywhere to establish a beautiful, consistent identity!

#2 - Stock Photo Mishaps

PROBLEM

You are using generic and impersonal images that don't resonate with your audience

AND / OR

Using images with messages that don't align with your brand

FIX IT FAST

Use high-quality, custom photos that showcase your unique brand personality.

Think props, behind-the-scenes action with clients, or you with your favorite book.

Whatever is unique to YOU and your business is perfect!

Curate stock photos with intention and ensure they tell your brand story.

Digging through generic stock photos to find a message that reaches YOUR audience is not easy.

#3 - Failing to Tell Your Story

PROBLEM

Your images lack emotional connection or fail to convey your brand message

AND / OR

You are overlooking the POWER of visual storytelling

FIX IT FAST

We all know people buy from those they trust. Your audience wants to know YOU.

What is your brand story?

WHY did you start your business?

Craft a compelling brand narrative and use visuals to support it.

Focus on authentic moments that represent YOU, your personality and your brand.

Do you have photos interacting with happy clients?

What interests you OUTSIDE of work?

All the little pieces work together to tell the story of you, your brand and your business.
