Introducing Jessica Hadley, Certified Running Coach (Clarkston, MI)

Jessica is a Certified Running Coach and an independent coach for a Team called Team RunRun. She provides 1:1 personalized coaching for runners of all levels from beginners to advanced runners - ages 12 +. She has a certification from the USATF and VDOT.

She is a mom of very active boys and also a Pure Barre Instructor.

I was so excited when Jessica reached out to tell me she had left her corporate life and was venturing into the entrepreneurial world.

What inspired you to begin your business?

"I was coached for years and still am - I would never have got to where I am without a coach to guide me and help get the best out of me. I'm still not done yet - I still have goals moving forward in the sport.

My service is very niche, however, it can be utilized by so many people. I often hear people say 'I would love to run but I don't know where to start' or that they simply can't run. I provide the help and 1-1 support to help get someone started.

I also provide services to intermediate and advanced runners to lower their personal best, qualify for the Boston Marathon, or other larger goals. Plus services for youth in the off-season."

Are there any resources that have really helped you uplevel your business?

"I've done a lot of training on mindset and motivation which helps me talk through tough workouts with my athletes. However, I think the main thing that has helped grow my business is the relationships I create with my athletes. I am here for them all the time, whenever they have questions or need changes. I understand that life happens and help them navigate how to fit running in and make it a lifestyle."

What’s the best piece of business advice you’ve ever been given?

"You have to hustle and network to be successful."

What was your #1 biggest challenge prior to doing a personal brand shoot?

"I had many pictures of me running from races but nothing I could use for my website and other places online. I also was missing specific in-action poses, such as stretching."

What changed after getting your images?

"Now I have pictures that make me look confident, strong, and fierce."

What would you say to somebody on the fence about booking a shoot?

"Definitely do it!! I decided to work with Kasey because she is local, very easy to work with, and was very responsive with all my questions and needs.

She worked with me to create the perfect pictures for my brand that will last a long time."

Anything else to add?

"It's still new but I believe I have a stronger online image now and I have so many more images to use still.

I got quite a few leads after posting my first picture and was reposted by a couple sites on social media."
